London for children

Whether during the school holidays or on the weekend, London has some great places to take the little ones, where they can learn through play

With options to suit all tastes, London has several days out that give children the chance to have fun whilst learning a little history.

One of them is the Science Museum, on Exhibition Road in Kensington, which is full of technological displays and exhibits that blend fun with knowledge. The museum also has a gift shop stacked with toys and gadgets, as well as an IMAX 3D cinema.

The Natural History Museum is right next door, and uses virtual reality glasses to recreate the land of the dinosaurs, making it a great option for fun and learning.

On the banks of the River Thames, in front of the London Eye, is Sea Life London Aquarium. The aquarium is home to hundreds of species—fish, rays and sharks—that swim around a giant tank containing two million litres of water, uniting the largest community of marine creatures in the UK.
