Rio Boteco is back to East London this Summer

Rio Boteco, originally conceived to celebrate Rio Olympic Games, is back to East London for another Summer of fun, refreshing drinks and superb Brazilian dishes

Brazilian pop-up opens to the public this Friday, the 9th of June, in Bethnal Green with weekly menus showcasing best of the country´s comfort food, classical drinks with a twist and cultural program featuring music and arts. Large, versatile and with an outdoor space, it can host parties and a variety of activities.

 

Rio Boteco is back to East London this Summer”We feel it´s got the perfect atmosphere for Summer events and happy hours to be enjoyed outdoors“, says Margô Marques, one of the founders of the events company MargoCamilo.

Rio Boteco will open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and will run till the end of August showcasing exquisite Brazilian comfort food such as moqueca (fish and prawn stew), empadinhas (Brazilian palm heart tartlets), also new to the menu and served with Brazilian vinaigrette sauce.

“Our menus will change slightly every week so we can give our guests a taste of how diverse our cuisine is. The idea is present new creations and innovative sauces playing with unexpected flavors”, defends Gustavo Camilo, Margô´s partner at MargoCamilo.

 

They will also host live music every Friday with the duo Two Blend and DJ Amaral will play twice a month turning Rio Boteco into a dance floor for the ones willing to get a Brazilian ginga.
