The Piano Works promotes Carnival in London

There is no longer any need to feel desolate at the lack of any Carnaval action in London, or feel that you are missing out on the samba-fun in Brazil.

As for the uninitiated, come along and feel the party atmosphere!

Coinciding with the official opening of carnival season in Brazil, The Piano Works recreates the irresistible rhythms of the samba in London.

Two events bring together all the colours, sounds and frivolity of the most famous party in the world: on Saturday, 25 February, the Masked Ball, with DJ Moishe, will go on until 4am. On Sunday, 26 February, it’ll be time for the Micareta da Bahia, with a show from Elizangela Mahogany, who will play a mix of axé, salsa, merengue and reggae. Afterwards, revellers can look forward to DJ Bruno taking them through to 1am with samba galore.

As if all that wasn’t enough, a menu of Brazilian snacks and drinks will ensure no-one leaves the party with an empty stomach. So, get your mask ready, stock up on glitter, find a spectacular outfit and book your ticket!

When: 25 & 26 February

Where: The Piano Works – 113-117 Farringdon Road (5 minutes from Farringdon tube station)
