VI Children’s Drawing Competition: “Young Brazilians in the World”

You can now register for the VI Children’s Drawing Competition, promoted by the Ministry of International Relations of Brazil. The competition is titled Brasileirinhos no Mundo (Young Brazilians in the World), and is aimed at Brazilian children between 6 and 12 years old, who live abroad.

brasileirinhosThe competition seeks to promote general interest in Brazil and all things Brazilian amongst this young public. With the theme O que Aprendi na Escola (What I Learned at School), the drawings should portray, in a creative and original way, some form of learning that has taken place at school, be it from formal education or from playing and socialising with schoolmates. In fact the drawings can reflect any situations, fact, memories and choices that somehow came to be as a result of education.

The window for registrations closes on April 29th and should be done via email: brasileirinhos@itamaraty.gov.br.

brasileirinhos1The actual drawings by children who live in the UK should be sent directly to the Brazilian Consulate in London (3 Vere Street, London, UK, W1G 0DG).
