Every time I visit Brazil I make sure I buy books, mostly children’s books for my daughter, but recently I was delighted to discover that there is a bookstore in the heart of London that sells children’s books written in Portuguese called Foyles, on Charing Cross Road (number 107).

foylesThe bookstore has more than 200,000 titles upon its 6.5 km of shelving, 25,000 of which are make up the foreign literature section, with a range of approximately 150 languages.

The books available in Portuguese range from children’s literature to Portuguese courses for children and adults, classic and contemporary Brazilian literature, and even travel guides.

It is definitely worth a visit!
