Gardens beyond the horizon

The promenade gardens in Santos, a city on São Paulo’s coastline, are the largest garden in the world according to the Guinness Book of Records. Stretching for 5,335m along the city’s beachfront and covering a combined area of 218,800m2, the public gardens are home to more than 100 species of plants and 1,300 flowerbeds.
