For the very first time, a set of British stamps will pay tribute to a solo artist. The Royal Mail in the UK has created a book of ten stamps, each featuring an image of the singer or one of his iconic album covers.
“For more than five decades David Bowie has influenced musicians, writers, designers and artists. He was always ahead of his time”, said a spokesperson for the Royal Mail.
The stamps were officially released on March 14.
