The 3rd edition of CompartiArte brings together art and social work
CompartiArte is a collection of artworks brought together by the art collectors and entrepreneurs Angela Akagawa and Cleusa Garfinkel, and is an effort to help social entities promote contemporary art. Funds raised from artworks sold at the exhibition go towards UNIBES (Brazilian-Israeli Union for Social Welfare), the charity Share and the Nossa Senhora Auxiliadora Beneficent Association.
This year’s exhibit includes works from artists such as Albano Afonso, Caio Reisewitz, Cássio Vasconcellos, Edgard de Souza, Laura Gorski, Nelson Leirner, Sandra Cinto and Thereza Salazar, who donated their paintings specially for the event.
The Brazilian British Centre will house the exhibition, which will take place from 17 to 19 August.
Thanks to plenty of support from volunteers, artists, gallery owners and collectors, the exhibit – access to which is free of charge – is all set to be a success.
Where: R. Ferreira de Araújo, 741 – Pinheiros, São Paulo – SP
