Gay Pride marks its presence in London, with the theme “Love Happens Here”

One of the biggest LGBT parades around, this year’s Pride Parade has the theme “Love Happens Here”, and brings together members of the LGBT community and diverse supporters to raise awareness of equality issues, whatever one’s sexual preferences.

The event takes place on 8 July and will feature musicians and speakers at Trafalgar Square, along with the parade, which starts at the north of Oxford Circus and ends at Whitehall. Remember to arrive in plenty of time, as the Pride Parade is one of London’s biggest events, with the streets around Trafalgar Square quickly filling up with eager onlookers.
