Fancy seeing the London New Year’s celebrations up close? Find out where to get tickets

There may still be a couple of months to go until London New Year’s Eve, but it’s a good idea to get your plans in order. If you would like to watch the fireworks from the capital’s most popular spot – around the London Eye – tickets are already on sale.

Available for purchase on the Mayor of London’s website, you can choose whereabouts you would like to watch the show from, with five different view points, on both sides of the Thames.

The only way to be sure of getting access to the area on the night will be with a ticket, so you better get yours early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets cost £10 and there is a limit of four per account.
