I am delighted to welcome the arrival of the Bossa Brazil Magazine, the latest publication dedicated to Brazil to reach the British market. I am persuaded convinced that a the well-informed coverage of Brazilian issues will appeal to the British audiences, as their interest in Brazil has continued to grow on account of our culture, tourism potential and, especially, for hosting the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which will be held in South America for the very first time.
As a country of continental proportions, with a population of 205 million, with dynamic cities and a diverse offering of cultural goods, there should be no shortage of topics for the magazine contributors to cover. I salute the publisher and his team for this timely initiative and wish them every success with their magazine.
