BBMag takes on Soho!

This Thursday, 9 June, Bossa Brazil Magazine (BBMag) launched a promotional campaign in Soho, one of London’s most central locations (see map).

621px-London_Soho_district_mapSoho was chosen to kick-start our campaign as it is one of the oldest and most famous neighbourhoods in the heart of the city, and one that welcomes a diversity of cultures without detracting from its own unique charm. The area is full of restaurants catering for all tastes, markets and stalls selling organic food, media agencies, bars and nightclubs; Soho is a bustling place, both by day and by night.

Soho also accounts for London’s Chinatown, as well as Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus, with famous thoroughfares such as Regent Street, Oxford Street and the cultural hotspots of Carnaby Street and Shaftesbury Avenue, where tourists and locals alike enjoy a wide range of theatre productions. It is this eclectic mix of cultures that gives this area a certain “underground” feel, but at the same time maintains a unique sense of sophistication.

Soho Blitz 1The intention of BBMag’s promotional drive is to increase the magazine’s circulation amongst British and international readers who live, work and visit this important area of the city.

As BBMag is the only Brazilian lifestyle magazine written in both languages, Portuguese and English, we want to get our enlightening content into the hands of people who still know relatively little about Brazil, helping drive the visibility and reach of our magazine, our advertisers and our supporters.

Soho Blizt 3BBMag has now increased its distribution points to cover 180 Brazilian points and 105 British and International points in and around London. Following our Soho campaign, our attention will turn to other important areas of central London, including Camden Town, Covent Garden, the City of London.
