Oral health care

Good oral health care is vital to the overall harmony of the human body

Several conditions can directly interfere with the functioning of other parts of your body. To avoid any illness, here are some essential tips to make part of your daily routine:

Brush your teeth daily. Many people still don’t brush their teeth. The correct thing to do is brush them at least three times a day – in the morning, in the afternoon, and finally at night before bed.

Brush your teeth correctly. Avoid brushing too hard, as cleaning is more effective when the brushing movement is done correctly, hence avoiding any damage to the structure of the teeth or trauma to the gums.

Use dental floss. Floss should be used daily as there are some spaces between the teeth that a brush cannot access.

Brush your tongue. The tongue typically accumulates dirt, leading to unwanted bacteria and unpleasant halitosis.

Eat healthily. Avoid foods that contain high sugar content to safeguard against tooth decay. Maintaining a balanced diet can promote the natural cleansing of teeth, caused when foodstuffs interact with your teeth and form a barrier between them and bacterial acids.

Visit your dentist frequently. Even if you follow all of the above tips, it is crucial to visit your dentist at least once a year; only a trained professional can perform an extensive cleaning and diagnose any possible problems.

Oral health, synonymous with a beautiful and charming smile, is the trademark of Brazilians everywhere. Take good care of yourself!
