London event mixes the best of Brazilian and Indian cuisines

Have you ever thought of two of the most delicious cuisines in the world mixed together?

Well, the dream is about to come true this September. BrazIndian Supper club offers a special menu thought by Chef Luciana Berry, Chef Pratibha and Chef Jorge Baumhauer da Silva.

According to the hosts, the creative concept of the event is a fusion of Brazilian cuisine from Northern Brazil (Pará and Bahia states) and Eastern India. Three places with similar tropical ingredients used in different and exotic ways.

Now take a look at this mouthwatering menu:

Welcome drink:

  • Passionfruit, crushed ice, sugar and “cachaça” – sugarcane spirit

Amuse bouche:

  • Lamb samosas with sweet and sour tamarind sauce
  • Mini pork cheek with buttery fried polenta.
  • Bread fruit bomba, stuffed with crab meat served with fresh Brazilian chilli and Coriander sauce

Starters:

  • Chayote spaghetti with smoked prawns, peanut and fresh chilli
  • Fermented rice and lentil pancakes served with garlic and coconut dressing
  • Tuna Nikkei Ceviche
  • Aji amarrilio and yuzo nikkei tiger’s milk
  • Nori, Spring onion, mirin, miso,orange peel

Main courses:

  • Pan fried seabass served with prawn stew served with ginger, lime and spring onion salsa
  • Spicy Bengali mutton curry served with flaky puffed bread
  • Amazonian okra and dried shrimp curry

Dessert:

  • Tart Tatin with Indian and Brazilian fruits and spices
