50,000 helicopters!

There are more than 50,000 helicopters in the world. About 2,000 of them are registered in Brazil, with 600 just in São Paulo city (the largest fleet of helicopter in any one city – London is fifth). São Paulo is also the only city that has a dedicated air traffic control for this type of aircraft. Among the six cities with the largest fleets of helicopters in the world, three are Brazilian.
