The Anglo Brazilian Society is set to host an event at the Rio Olympic Lounge, on 10 August, commemorating the Opening of the Games and helping us all enter into the Olympic spirit. The Sala Brasil, the Embassy’s main events hall, will be specially decorated so as to guarantee a night to remember for all.
A singer with an acoustic guitar and a DJ will provide excellent Brazilian music throughout the night. In addition, guests can look forward to traditional Brazilian canapés and wines, and of course, caipirinhas, which will be served during the event to help the celebrations tick along nicely.
The event is free to members of the Anglo Brazilian Society, whilst entry for non-members is priced at £20. Anyone wishing to attend, please send an email confirming their presence to absanglobraziliansociety@gmail.com.
