Last Thursday (21 April), Bossa Brazil Magazine (BBMag) had its official launch party at the Embassy of Brazil in London. The event, which started at 6:30pm and went on until 10pm, was a fantastic success, with over 140 guests taking part, including English and Brazilian entrepreneurs, journalists, bloggers, artists and lots of friends!
Publisher Glauco Chris Fuzinatto made a presentation about the magazine to the guests highlighting the editorial and cultural potential of BBMag. Afterwards, Fuzinatto and some contributors – such as the chef Luciana Berry, the dancer and choreographer Douglas Gomes and the writer and translator Ed Freeman, amongst others – gave interviews and mingled with those present, who sampled Brazilian delicacies, caipirinhas (cachaça, lime & sugar) and açaí berry, to the sound of MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) and Bossa-nova interpreted by Gui Tavares.
