To wrap up this August, The Embassy of Brazil in London presents the film Neon Bull, from director Gabriel Mascaro.
The film is the story of Iremar, a cowboy who prepares the bulls before they are released into the ring, and in doing so travels around Brazil’s north-eastern region, with Galega and Geise.
Wherever he goes, he collects magazines and bits and pieces from rags and mannequins, as he dreams of leaving behind his country life, to work as a stylist in Agreste’s busy textile industry.
An inspiring film, not to be missed!
