Emicida at The Jazz Cafe

Brazilian rapper Emicida at The Jazz Cafe on Wednesday 24th July

Brazilian artist Emicida is a rapper whose skill at improvisation and rap battles is such that it led to the creation of his name as an artist.

The name Emicida is a portmanteau of the words Emcee and homicide. Because of his frequent victories in the battles of improvisation, his friends began to say that he was a “killer”, who kills his opponents through rhymes.

It’s consequently made him one of the most respected MCs in his home country, and one of the biggest revelations of the its underground hip hop scene.

Listen to his new track ‘Mil Coisas’ here.

To buy the show tickets, just go to The Jazz Cafe website.
