The Embassy of Brazil in London announced the vacancy of Foreign Trade and Investment Technical Assistant

The Embassy of Brazil in London opened a job vacancy application for the role of Foreign Trade and Investment Technical Assistant. Working at the Commercial Section, the candidate will first pass through a 6 month remunerated probationary period.

Brazilian nationals or nationals of third countries must prove that the applicant has the right to permanently reside in the United Kingdom, and is legally entitled to take full-time paid employment for an undetermined length of time. Besides, a valid passport is also required.

There are a few forms on the Embassy website that must be properly completed with the applicant info, like phone number, address, e-mail and others. Two of those forms are related to Brazil: the candidate cannot hold a public post or employment in Brazil, as well as any Brazilian public servant employment. Also required are a 3×4 photo and updated curriculum vitae.

Previous experience, preferably within the commercial area, is also required. The applicants are asked to bring at least 2 recommendation letters from previous employers and have at least a college degree. Portuguese and English languages are also a must, together with the Office pack knowledge.

The applicants must present all of the original documents (or authenticated copies) together with copies of those for all of the documents required on the site.

Duties, responsibilities and further details about what the candidate is going to do once admit can be also found in the site. Main activities are market research with trade and investment analyses, promotion of trade and investment opportunities, to organize events and to support Brazilian investors interested in the United Kingdom.

The applications must be submitted in person at the Embassy from September 18 to October 5, from 10am to noon and from 3pm to 5pm. The monthly remuneration will be of £ 2,500 (two thousand and five hundred pounds).
