One of the planet’s most naturally diverse countries, Brazil is home to some extraordinary species, a selection of which are on display at London’s Horniman museum until 8 January.
With images from renowned Brazilian photographers, such as João Marcos Rosa – the award-winning artist whose picture illustrates this article – the exhibit features unique images of Brazilian nature, reminding us of the risk of extinction that some of these species face, due to pollution, deforestation and climate change.
The photographs, carefully selected by curator Alicia Bastos, light up London with their colour and movement, full of quintessential Brazilian richness and natural beauty.
