The Embassy of Brazil in London presents the film The Middle of the World, from director Vicente Amorim.
The film stars Wagner Moura (Elite Squad) and Cláudia Abreu as a couple with five children making a 3,200 kilometres (2,000 miles) bicycle trip from the state of Paraíba to the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is based on the true story of former truck driver Cícero Ferreira Dias.
This screening is a partnership with Caipirinha Club in London (monthly gathering to practice/learn the Portuguese language).
