A MUSIC NIGHT FOR THE SOUL!

On 17 June 2019, Milton Nascimento charmed the audience at the Barbican Centre in London.

It was an unforgettable show and the crowded house applauded this icon of the Brazilian music several times, with its unique voice and beautiful songs.

A great highlight in this show was the young musician José Ibarra who gave a show apart, doing duet with Milton in some songs and with interpretations-only exciting.

Whoever had the opportunity to be in this show at the Barbican, celebrating the anthological Clube da Esquina 1 (of 1972) and 2 (of 1978), must have noticed a very skinny young man that on the stage is to the right of Bituca. His name is José Ibarra. This 22-year-old native of Rio de Janeiro, the son of a Chilean mother and a father from Rio with Bahia origins, is a vocalist, keyboardist and one of the composers of one of the bands that has been a new sensation of Brazilian popular music recently, “Dônica”, that also has Lucas Nunes (guitar), Miguel Guimarães (bass) and Tom Veloso (compositions and guitar), son of Caetano Veloso and Paula Lavigne. Ibarra did several duets with Bituca and interpreted San Vicente alone.

Milton Nascimento thrilled the audience and it was a night of music for the soul!
