The Embassy of Brazil in London is hosting the symposium “New paradigms for prevention in mental health – Insights from Brazil-UK research collaborations” on 19 October 2018, in the context of the Brazil – UK Year of Science and Innovation 2018-19.
The symposium will bring together world-leading academics from Brazil and the UK to discuss their latest findings on adult and adolescent vulnerability to mental health issues, including perspectives from neuroscience, neuropsychology and social sciences.
Some of the institutions that are going to be represented at the symposium are UNIFESP (Federal University of São Paulo), Mackenzie (Mackenzie Presbyterian University) and UFRGS (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul) from Brazil, and King’s College London, London School of Economics and Political Science and the Centre for Prevention of Mental Disorders, amongst others.
The event is public and free, but you need to send an e-mail to the academic section of the Embassy of Brazil in London to reserve a place.
