Colours of the World

A 3 thousand square metre wall – which may be enough to take top place in the Guinness Book of Records.

Decorated by the Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra, catches the eye of anyone walking along Avenida Rodrigues Alves, on the Olympic Boulevard, in the centre of Rio de Janeiro.

The artwork, called ‘Etnias’ (Ethnicities) depicts five faces, representing tribes from each of Earth’s five continents, whilst also making reference to the Olympic Rings. The wall is particularly striking in its use of colour and three dimensional shapes.
