One of Rio’s most popular spots during the Olympics, the Olympic Boulevard – a revitalized port area in the city centre – will continue with its varied program during the Paralympics, from 7 to 18 September.
Anyone looking for a different kind of adventure, with a stunning panoramic view of the centre of Rio, is invited to take a trip in an enormous hot air balloon, which will rise 150 metres above the city. The rides are free, and the balloon holds up to 15 passengers at a time, from 10am to 10pm. Hop on opposite the Candelária Church.
For those who prefer more extreme thrills, there’s always the Bungee Jump at Praça XV. Attached to a 13-storey crane, the not so faint of heart have been enjoying the attraction all day every day since it opened, with up to 72 daring jumpers a day.
The excitement at the Orla Conde do Boulevard doesn’t stop there; with varied attractions such as street bands, exhibitions, houses of nations and food trucks, all looking forward to welcoming thousands of tourists and fun-seekers.
