The US Network NBC has come to an agreement with Snapchat to broadcast special moments from the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
An exclusive Snapchat channel – found in the Discover part of the app – is in the making. Over the course of a couple of weeks, pictures and short videos from behind the scenes at the Games will be posted to the new channel, showing the Olympics from the athletes’ perspectives, as well as interesting facts and background information about competitors. The app will also make daily live stories, using NBC content and that generated by athletes and spectators in the various Olympic locations.
It’s a brilliant opportunity for us all to get even closer to the Games!
