Rio 2016 – Tweets which mention the Olympics will show up on famous Rio landmarks

0

Twitter is providing special coverage specifically for the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Selected tweets will be projected onto The Wonderful City’s most famous landmarks, in particular the Arcos da Lapa. In addition, a special bus is driving around Rio, with screens in place of windows, which show the latest news and live transmissions, as well as tweets about the Olympics. The bus also has free Wi-Fi for anyone who happens to be near and wants to use it. Have a look for the Twitter Buzz, which will be at all the main events.

The Olympics already have their own special section on Twitter, which brings all the latest information people need to know, and users are already trying out the new emojis (over 205) related to the Olympic hashtags, in a host of different languages.

It’s worth having a look!
