Brazilian Witchcraft and Wizardry school inspired by Harry Potter

Have you ever imagined what it might be like to receive a letter of invitation to study at the most famous Magic School of all time?

Fans of the Harry Potter series of books and films, written by J. K. Rowling, can now fulfil their dreams by applying to the Escola de Magia e Bruxaria (Magic and Wizardry School) in Campos do Jordão, São Paulo.

The castle is reminiscent of Hogwarts, with its own Quidditch pitch, and is situated next to a forest of araucaria trees, in a part of Brazil with a very agreeable climate.

Budding Wizards and Witches will receive a uniform and spend four days in the fictional Potter universe, immersing themselves in staple Hogwarts subjects, receiving lessons in Charms, Potions, Herbology, Defence Against the Dark Arts and even Broomstick Flying!

Students decide which subjects they focus on, and which house they wish to represent. There will be a full agenda of goings on whilst guests pass their time at the school, with morning and afternoon classes, as well as Quidditch championships and a graduation ceremony at the end of the stay.

The period for inscriptions for December is now open.

If you like the idea of following in Harry Potter’s footsteps, the website http://escolademagiaebruxaria.com.br/ has all the information you will need, such as dates, prices and programme of activities.

So get your magic wand out and enjoy your wizard studies!
