Travel back in time to HG Well’s Victorian England to live through the Martian invasion of 1898 with this much-anticipated immersive experience

The War of the Worlds is a science fiction novel by English author H. G. Wells written between 1895 and 1897, it is one of the earliest stories to detail a conflict between mankind and an extraterrestrial race.

The novel is the first-person narrative of both an unnamed protagonist in Surrey and of his younger brother in London as southern England is invaded by Martians. The novel is one of the most commented-on works in the science fiction canon.

Jeff Wayne’s The War of the Worlds: The Immersive Experience combines immersive theatre, virtual reality, holograms, cutting-edge technology and music from Jeff’s iconic soundtrack.

Live and virtual actors guide groups of up to 12 to walk, crawl and travel into the heart of the story from the moment they step inside.

The show is split into two acts and includes an interval in the immersive Red Weed bar where you can enjoy a drink and listen to extended versions of Jeff Wayne’s The Red Weed.

The show is suitable for those aged 12 and over.
