  • Many believe that Caipirinha was invented because the interior of São Paulo had many lemons, so it was necessary to find a way to use them.

 

  • Caipirinha was registered as an officially Brazilian recipe in 2003 and its registration presents the correct way to prepare the drink: alcoholic graduation of 15% to 36% in volume, at 20º Celsius, mixed exclusively with cachaça, plus lemon and sugar.
